Show Description
Your station requires compelling content and programming whenever a listener chooses your station.  The 7 PM to Midnight daypart is a particular challenge for many music formats.  Your Time With Kim Iverson offers nationally produced content complete with quality music, contributors and hosts, providing your station with an unparalleled opportunity to improve your nighttime audience share and revenues.

Music
Only the highest performing music is good enough for play on your station’s airwaves.  That means that titles and artists must be chosen with the utmost care, based on the results of nationwide research.  Nationally-recognized Hot Adult Contemporary programmer Cat Thomas compiles and combines research from throughout the nation, and generates a weekly music playlist.  Cat also schedules the music, which is played from our national studio, eliminating the need for any music effort on your end.  You will receive a schedule of the actual music for each show at least three days in advance of the air date.

You’ve read about Kim and listened to her show, so you know she has incredible skills to create and present compelling content, interact with contributors and listeners, interview, and entertain in an environment best described as “planned spontaneity.”

Kim is accessible to you, too.  Your market has its own set of opportunities and challenges that Kim and the Your Time staffers are ready to address.  You can submit suggestions, requests, concerns, and ideas through the show producers or your affiliate representative.  And you will receive a full manual that explains all the nuts and bolts of the show, including important procedures and contacts, prior to your initial airing of the show.

Contributors
Your Time with Kim Iverson understands that great shows are more than music and personality.  Magic happens when all the facets of the show are greater than the sum of their parts.  Contributors often provide the greatest content on successful shows, so Your Time has a vast panel of time-tested contributors like dream interpreters, psychics, music and motion picture superstars, fashion experts, food aficionados, and more, featured on both a regular basis and “as interests the audience.”

Clock Hours

Just like a local station’s format, Your Time programming is carefully arranged.  To assist
you in planning for the optimum performance of your local information and content, we provide a Standard Clock Hour.  Songs, local breaks, entertainment segments, etc., are contained on the clock, so that you can program your automation system accordingly. 

Remember, every hour is stand alone so that you can present hours in “Best Of” formats, locally originated, in case of transmission failure.  These hours are not to be used outside of the normal program air times.  

Obviously, your traffic, programming and automation logs will vary based upon the Clock Hour in use.  Refer to the Music Logs provided to you, in order to avoid individual song conflicts between your live, local log and the network music log.

Technical Specifics
Your Time is designed for automated operation, using cutting edge technology that is transparent to listeners’ ears.  From microphone to music system to your listeners, Entercom makes your syndicated automation easy.

Prior to joining the network, your technical staff will receive telephone instruction and support from Entercom’s Corporate Engineering staff and a published outline that details the technical specifications, equipment and operation that insures seamless integration of the syndicated night show with your local product.

Delivery           

Your Time is available via the most advanced delivery system today.   ABC Networks’ AMC-8 satellite is recognized for its reliability and ease of use, and its compatibility with many equipment configurations that many facilities already have in place.

Here are the satellite assignments for Your Time:

                                  Service:   SAT SRVS 28 L/R
                                  (Select BOTH the Left and Right channels

Show Feed Times
The shows’ live network feeds will be available from 7 PM to 12 Midnight in the Eastern time zone.  In the Central, Mountain and Pacific Time zones, the shows will be available on partial-hour or full time shift delays. 

Partial-hour delay allows a radio station outside of the Eastern Time zone to choose to air any live hours that occur in desired broadcast schedule hours, while other hours are tape or digitally delayed until the end of the live feed.

Full time shift delays allow non-Eastern time zone stations to tape and digitally delay the entire live broadcast for later use in the stations’ broadcast schedules.

Delayed Replay
For stations in locations other than the Eastern Time zone, your automation system is probably designed to automatically record the original feed of your show during its live 7 PM to Midnight Eastern time slot.  You simply pre-record the hour long segments that precede your location’s live feed join.  Then, those hour segments will broadcast at the conclusion of your live feed time, in sequence.  No hour segment will ever reference a previous or following segment, so there is never a worry about a segment not being chronologically correct.

For your station’s protection, we recommend that your station archive several hour segments, allowing you to maintain one or more entire shows in the unlikely event that the live show should encounter technical problems.

Local Insertion of Imaging
Local insertion items, like bumpers, liners, jingles, etc., will air in local programming slots thanks to inaudible relays that trigger events on local automation.
